Position Summary
The position of Customer Service Representative is directly responsible for helping to ensure that every one of our guests receives best in class hospitality during their visit to the restaurant by following established steps of service and adhering to company standards. This role reports to the Directors of Operations, while working as an important liaison between our front and back of house teams.
Ideal Candidate
The Ideal candidate for this job should possess exceptional communication skills as well as a demonstrable background in customer service or hospitality. A strong work ethic, organizational and time management skills, and a passion for food and hospitality are a must.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Working the Point of Sale system and processing a large volume of transactions daily
Assisting customers with ordering
Identifying regular customers by name
Maintain a working knowledge of all menu items and specials
Maintain a working knowledge of all food allergens in each menu item
Greeting guests
Food running
Clearing and bussing tables
Checking in with guests
General cleaning duties
Qualifications
Candidates should have the following minimum qualifications:
At least one years experience working in retail, hospitality, or sales.
Aptitude for customer service and sales
Excellent communication skills
Basic math skills
Ability to work on your feet for up to eight hours
Ability to lift up to fifty pounds
Compensation
Compensation starts at $17 - $20 per hour depending on experience, with approximately 60% of base pay provided through hourly wages. The remainder is earned through a shared worker tip pool. No supervisors participate in the tip pool

The position of Culinary Specialist combines the characteristics of a professional line cook with those of an experienced prep chef into one robust skill set.
The Culinary Specialist is instrumental in executing our organization’s menu, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our guests as needed. This position provides a unique opportunity for a person with a culinary background to experience first hand how their expertise impacts the daily operations of our organization. The Culinary Specialist reports directly to the Directors of Operations.

Assist in preparing and executing all menu items in accordance with company standards
Work with other members of the culinary team to ensure all work is completed in an accurate and timely manner
Look for and identify new opportunities to improve efficiency in production and execution of menu items
Assist in providing customer service as needed
Daily cleaning and maintenance of food preparation and execution areas
Qualifications
Candidates should have the following minimum qualifications:
An associate or bachelor’s degree in the culinary arts, or equivalent experience
Aptitude for creative thinking
Excellent communication skills
Basic math skills
Ability to work on your feet for up to eight hours
Ability to lift up to fifty pounds
ServSafe certification a plus

Position Summary
The position of Kitchen Assistant is an entry level back of house position responsible for all ware washing, assisting with food preparation, and general custodial tasks as needed. This position provides a unique opportunity for a person with a passion for food, but no culinary experience to learn the trade at one of Pittsburgh’s best restaurants. The Kitchen Assistant reports directly to the Directors of Operations.

Candidates must also possess the ability to work independently when required, think creatively, and be able to plan ahead and manage their time accordingly.

Washing all dishes for the restaurant
Properly storing all dishes in a timely manner
Polishing dishes as required
Assisting in food preparation
Assist in storage and proper rotation of food
Regular cleaning of food storage areas
General custodial tasks as needed
Qualifications
Candidates should have the following minimum qualifications:
A high school diploma, or equivalent
A strong work ethic and an upbeat attitude
Excellent communication skills
Basic math skills
Ability to work on your feet for up to eight hours
Ability to lift up to fifty pounds
Ability to lift up to twenty pounds past shoulder height
